Title: Ironman suspension?
Post by: Fredo on April 29, 2007, 06:11:55 PM
What is the différence between http://www.ironmansuspension.com/ (http://www.ironmansuspension.com/) and Old man emu?

Did somebody test ironman suspension product?

thanx!

OME is the ducks guts suspension wise for Suzi's. I looked into ironman but all of the forums said they were too stiff/harsh as they are predominately designed for heavier 4wds - toyotas/nissans etc. Makes sense.

I have OME on my GV and haven't looked back.

I spoke with someone at "Iron Man" in Australia. They informed that the 2" coils for Vitara actually lifted you up 1.5" and that the ride was stiffer then stock.

Yeah, OME is about the same amount. I think 35mm is as high as they will go as ARB classify it as an "improvement", not a "modification", ie, it won't damage CVs etc. I guess you can either source taller springs or add spring spacers.

You want "the ducks guts" then you can not beat Calmini. I run their kits and NOTHING comes close as far as tweaking Vits / GV's go  >:D
