Title: Single wire to Power steering pump?

Does anyone know what that wire is for?  It's a single black wire hooked into the pump, then ties into a harness by the airbox on my 16V.

Idle speed.  Kicks the idle up when PS is used.

Ok, that makes sense.  I'm guessing that's computer controlled.

Yep, its one of the ECU sensors.
