The articulation in the rear of my samurai isn't great since I installed lift springs and they are well broken in. I'm considering Breeze Industries drop link shackles but I need some pro's and con's to these type of things.

Personally I don't like any folding shackle. I think flex is overrated and too much can be harmful. I prefer a stable predictable rig. These are just my opinion's remember. Some people love em.

I've heard that they can actually be harmfull in certain situations. Something about loading the weight in the wrong direction and causing a roll-over...
I would just get nice set of greasable shackles, maybe 1"(2"max) longer than stock to add a little extra flex without being unpredictable.
You could also take apart your spring packs and spread a good coat of anti-sieze lubricant between all of the leafs, and inside all of the spring bushings too.
If that isn't enough, you may want to remove a leaf from each pack...

I think I will likely stay away from the drop link shackles. To use them you need to modify your exhaust and I would have to remove the tow hooks I installed. I just finished greasing my bushings and opening up the spring clamps so we'll see if that helps any. If it isn't enough, which leaf would I remove from my spring pack if I were to go that route?
