Title: tracker rear diff removel
Post by: john1974 on May 13, 2007, 04:07:26 PM
I am in the process of removing my rear diff in my 94 tracker.  Ive done it before on sammys.. this may be cause i am worn out from the weekend, but I have the axle shafts pulled, the diff nutz removed and I cant get that thing to break loose...

Any ideas would be helpfull.

Maybe try jacking up on the front of the housing?

You might have to put the top mount back on and then put a couple of nuts back on the bottom of the third member a couple of turns from bottoming out and jack the front of the flange up.
