ok so i got a new starter put in my tracker and when i got it back today i find out the alternators bad, not only that after testing my stock starter it started 5 times then almost blew in half so not a complete waste. but anyways now when i turn the wheel on the inside of the cabin i hear a squeek or a little grind. i checked under the hood and u can't hear it under there. it's just inside. im wondering what it could possibly be...any ideas?

lol yeah it squeeks from behidn the steering wheel. but it's nothing under the hood that makes the noise..ill check the fluid later today :)

From behing the steering wheel ?
Or when you are behind the steering wheel ?
There is a difference ;)
I have a squeek that is the horn connection,
(wiper) that squeeks a little as I turn the wheel
is this your noise ?

i really have no idea..ill have to check it out later while putting in my new alternator

I have a little squeak coming from where the back of the steering wheel meets the steering column trim...
-
mine does that..totaly finish's off the tonka toy thing doesnt it :P

Man, I can't even tell one squeak/noise from another in my trucklet... with the bushings not being lubed right, the exhaust coming apart, and the road/tire noise, if it developed another subtle noise, I'd never notice ;D ;D
