Post by: jeff1997 on May 20, 2007, 08:13:44 PM
I am in need of a lift for my gas tank or info on how anyone else has made one. I have a 3" body lift and the tank now just hangs below everything else and looks terrible!!! Please help get it off the ground. Any info would be great.

I did that to Goblin, too. It had a 4" body lift from the previous owner. I just cut off the front  tank mounts from the cross member and used 2" heavy duty muffler clamps to clamp the tank on top of the rear cross member and just under the front cross member. Although the Goblin's original tank skid was the kind with 3 mounts that matched the tank and one mount that extended to the frame and I replaced it with the skid off of an older kick that had all 4 mounts the same as the tank, it made the tank lift easier...
