Title: tranny stuck in gear.

I have a 87 samurai an for a while it has had what I call sticky shiftin. mainly in thrid gear.some time it was really hard to get it in to some of the gears. than today it just got stuck in a gear. I dont know what gear cause the shift still moves in to the nutreual postion. but wont go in to 1 2 5 or R. it will go in to 3 but it wont shift out of thrid. the transfer case is fine it moves freely threw 4 hi 4 lo 2 whell. so what would cause this an what would one expect to pay for a tranny. for a 87 sammi

so no one has any ideas weather is could be a bushing or somthing simple before I tear this thing out.

At a loss - sorry. Most these transmissions are strong, so they don't go out all that often.
