Title: $189 convertible top???
Post by: eschneider on June 01, 2007, 02:10:30 AM
anyone have any experience with the $189 tops at tops4less?

I have a Bestop now, and it didn't hold up exceptionally well.  The thread rotted, and the plastic windows cracked within 3-4 years.

I don't have any experience with those tops, but I would think that 4 years for an aftermarket soft top is pretty good...

Thanks!
How long have you had it?
Any increase in wind noise?

I'm picking it's a Pavement Ends top which is label used by Bestop for the tops they have made in China at a lower price point. As I understand it they use the same patterns but the materials can be of a lesser quality.
