So, now that the Tracker is sitting out back, I may be able to save up some dough for the 'yota axle swap, but I'm wondering now how the stock 5spd and t-case are going to hold up with Toyota axles and 35/37's. Will I be set if I get one of the centerforce clutches (I've actually managed to make a fresh clutch last for the past year doing mostly daily driving with the 33x13.50 LTBs), or are the new tires going to be too much for the tranny?
Also, what gearing should I look into for the axles running 35/37" tires with a Tracker trans and t-case and Samurai t-case? Would 5.39's be too low in that setup, or just about right?

I think it would hold up fine. I have beat the hell out of mine with 33's for years, and Mike is running stock Trans and 4:1 Kick case with his 35" Krawlers.
So your doing a dual t-case set up? If you were doing single I would think a 4:1 and 5.83's would work. If I remember correctly, I think Toy axles gear down into the 6.?? range. I know you could pull 37's with that kind of gearing and a 4:1.

The lowest Toy R+Ps are 5.29 and 5.71.

Trail truck, more into the muddy stuff, though. Sammy t-case idea is for getting rid of the slip yokes with the straight axles and to give a little bit of gear reduction.
