Title: new to me 88 samurai

I am very new to the samurai world, i just got a 88, stock, with a tired 1.3.
what would be the best way to go, rebuild the 1.3 with some performance parts, or just install a 1.6. i  wont do a lot of wheeling, mostly some sand riding, with some 31 x 11.5 x 15 super swamper trxus sts.

I want to put a lift in, what is the best way to go there? i was looking at a calmini 3" or the calmini 5", has anyone used the 5" kit, just wondering if it is good, i see lots of feed back on the 3" but none on the 5".

any other feed back or opinions would be appreciated.

just put in the 1.6 and don't look back, sky mfg. makes a good kit at a great price.

Yep only way I would put a 1.3 in it is only if the 1.3 was free...  1.6 and you will be very, very happy.
