could someone tell me what ford rims work on a tracker, i have a 1991 tracker and i want some steel wheels for 15 inch mudder tires. thanks
-
I do not know what years fit but I have a set of 4 I'd like to get out of my garage. I live in IL, so if you are remotely close we could work something out. They are 15x7, have no rust and no bends.
-
where do you live in IL because im looking for some rims

I live in Highland, it is about 30 miles straight east of St. Louis

OE ford wheels wont fit without having the center machined out to 4 1/2 inches. Ford does have the same bolt pattern so aftermarket wheels do fit.

How would you go about machining out the center holes? Just use a hole saw or what?
Also, nobody has said what year of Ford rims work yet.

Most Ford 1/2 ton truck AfterMarket Rims
The Stock ones centers are too small.
Jeep CJs (what ever years had the 5 on 5 1/2 boltpattern)
I don't know heeps, they all look alike from my house.
81-93 Dodge 1/2 ton Trucks

Try looking in the salvage yards for Ford Bonco (fullsized!) aftermarket wheels.
They are the spoke type and the center hole is large enough to work. I have 5 on my truck.
Also: do a search for wheels for a comprehensive list of interchangable wheels for the Samurai/TracKick.
Hope that helps!

[/quoteThe set of OE Ford rims I have fit perfectly, the center holr is exactly the same size as stock Suzuki rims-118mm?

I was under the understanding that Ford rims don't need modification as long as they're the 4WD rims, and not the 2WD rims. I'm sure mine are from a Ford F150 4x4, but they look similar to a Jeep CJ wheel.

I belive its 97 and older and even the 4x4 option the center holes are too small. I had a set of wheels off a ford that I had the centers cut out on a lathe. Again I am talking Factory wheels. Aftermarket Ford wheels bolt right on.

you also have to look at the off set i got a set of early 90's f series and the off set was too much and would of rubbed more than my stock rims.

The FACTORY rims I have from a Ford truck have the proper hole size and bolt pattern.
