Title: factory tool kit location
Post by: The Dog on June 14, 2007, 09:18:08 AM
I searched for this and didn't find anything. I was wondering where the factory tool kit for an '87 Samurai is located?  I found the jack crank under the driver's seat.

Thanks

On my 88 the jack crank was with the jack under the hood, not sure if thats the original place it was kept thou.

Sorry for the useless post

The jack should fit in a bracket under the driver's seat. The tire tool fits in a snap clip just in front of the jack.

Strangely enough, My Samurai came with an very small toolkit (I am the second owner) that I found in the glovebox.

Hope this helps!
