I usually run 12 or 14 pounds, the guys I run with use 8 in their Swampers.
I say go to 14, then drop to 10 if you need more float.

I run 10lbs on the sand.

I normally run 3 to 4 PSI, unless I am going to be driving it back and forth to work and will be only seeing pavement for a while then I wll pump them up to around 13-15 PSI.
When I ran Sand Lake, I ran 5 PSI at first then lowered back down to around 2-3 PSI. I have 32X10.50 swampers on 15x7 wheels.

I ran those tires on the same rim in the winter here in canada in snow, useually air down to about 2psi rear and 3psi front. Never blown a bead and I was jumping it at that pressure.

atart at nine or ten psi and go from there. if your spinning the tires like crazy drop it down to like 5 or even lower. depends on the sand/terrain. i have pro comp xterrains and run about 3psi in the sand. my tires have a 6ply sidewall which is a little much for sand though bfg all terrains are much better for sand.
