Im putting the 1 1/2 spacers in the front of my Geo and I was wondering if anyone know of a strut that is longer than the stock struts so I do not have to make or buy the extentions. I would rather just replace my struts because they are worn out anyway.
Thanks!
P.S. If I am doomed to have to extentions, does anyone know the site where it shows how to flip the mounts?

Old man emu makes longer struts. http://www.rocky-road.com/kickome.html

lol maybe I will go with the extended mounts before I pay that much for struts. Thanks though :)

"OOOOOOOOOO" but those OME struts are Sooooooooo nice ;D
And Comfie, you'd wonder how ya lived with out them.

Yep. I pride myself in building a cheap rig but eventually broke down and shelled out the bucks for the OME struts. With the install and everything, they cost half what I paid for the whole Zuk! But I have no regrets. I like them well enough that on my next build, I will go with a full OME lift.

Hmmm....I might have to reconsider. lol

my 4 door rode like it had no suspension with the old struts on it. I swapped to OME ones and holy crap! its soo smooth now! I can actually take speedbumps at something more than a crawl!
-
is there anywhere else that offers cheaper OME struts than rocky road?
-
Yep, those OME struts are nice alright - I bit the bullet and fitted them to my Calmini lifted GV BUT I also run the Calmini Long Travel struts ( soon to be released I hope for you guys ) and they are even better. Calmini struts - the damping is very good ( slightly softer than the OME struts ) and the extra travel makes for an unreal ride in the rough stuff - you have to experience it to believe it. Now that I have tried both sets ( Calmini LT & OME ) I can't wait for the Calmini struts to be readily avaliable.
Regardless of what type you get - they are a huge improvement over the stock option ;)

Has Calmini given any info on when and price of the long travel struts. When they do I'll be selling the calmini struts that came with their 3" suspension lift. Wouldn't it be great if they offered an upgrade path with a return of the older struts?
