The Tracker has an automatic transmission, both a 4 speed and 3 speed depending on the  year.  If you want to have some real fun, look at doing the Kicker 3 conversion at the same time your doing the engine swap.  :)

As far as I know from hanging around the forums since '01, there is no automatics specifically designed for the Samurai and it was not an option for the North American market Samurai. I would hazard a guess that from '95 back, and automatic SJ-413 did not exist as an option anywhere.

You can bolt up transverse automatics to the 1.3 but that really doesn't help much...

Most folks do a 1.6 engine/transmission transplant to get an automatic Samurai.

Any better guessers than me??
