In the world of the Suzuki G series engine, the G10 (3 cylinder) and ther G13 (4 cylinder) share the same bellhousing boltup pattern.  Yep, I saw a G10 a week ago in a friend's Samurai.

The G16 (1.6 8 and 16 valve block) has a slightly different pattern than has been adapted for the 1.3 transmission.

How did the 1.0L work on the Sammy?  I have often considered the 3 cyl as a replacement if my engine ever went out in the 410.

The "Pro from Dover" on G10 transplants would be Smuz over at KCZuks.com (http://216.92.47.222/forum/ (http://216.92.47.222/forum/)). He's also the LJ expert.

What is the sj410 motor known as? it is 1 liter, but it is a 4 cylinder and has an iron block instead of an aluminum one.
