Title: 2nd Generation Vitara Seats into 1st Generation Vitara (Kick/Track)

I saw a 2door, 2nd Gen Vitara in a salvage yard today that had a good pair of seats.   8)  I looked at the seat mounting system and it looked very similar, if not identical, to the 2door, 1st Gen seat mounts.  Does anyone know if they will bolt over?

I'm in need of new seats and would like to know my options.

I bet you could un-bolt them from the rails, and bolt them back on your existing rails, you may need to drill new holes though.  :)

I am sure you will find they fit. Worst case, swap the rails. I replaced all of my seats in a 92 4 door with ones from a '95 2 litre no problems at all.
