Title: Dead fuelpump Vitara 1,6 16v -94

Hi my fuel pump is not working any more. Vitara 1,6 16v -94

I have checked the relaey it works. I saw somewho had write something about a earthcabel behind left taillight, so i looked behind the light and they cabel where in good shape.

But i saw a green contact with 4 cabels, 2 green with a black stripe and 2 green with i blue stripe, they where loosen.

They where connected to a white contact with 2 cabels 1 black and 1 green.

Now i wonder if someone has any ide how these four cabels should connect against those 2.

And if it can have something to do with my fuelpump problem.
Also my fuel gauge are dead.

I'm not sure if those connectors should be attached to anything. there are some 'spare' connectors there for tow bar electrics. If the wiring there is in good shape then you should check the connections to the pump itself. You will probably have to drop the fuel tank to get to them. If you have a voltmeter then check that you are getting 12V to the pump. Then check the pump itself with a 12V battery.

Ok, thank just checked if some knew about them and if they hade to with the pump.

Then i should have saved some time.

But then i gonna remove the tank to the weekend and check the power to the pump..
