Title: Wired rearend

While doing the body lift (I know a lot of people here don't like 'em?)I noticed what looks like an electrical wire going into the rearend, what is it?

It's on the '91 tracker I'm on the east coast going to bed. Please help by morning.

Into the rear diff? That'll be for the ABS sensor.
