i just went to order my header for my 1.6 16valve and the price wasnt as listed, it said 193.95 but that was the 1.6 8v and the 1.6 16v is 293.94 thats dumb, thats to much for only 9 horses. anyone got any suggestions??? does whats the main diff. from long tube to shorty? Torque right? wut should i doooooo.....

theres alot of places that sell them. check around with all the vendors.

I have seen them for as little as $170.00 for a Thorley.You just need to shop around.

I guess you need to ask yourself is 9 horses worth it and whether it will actually give you that. My friend used to build headers for mercedes in the Miamai area for one company, they claimed all kinds of HP gains but they constantly changed the design without testing. If you can weld you may want to try making your own, if nothing else it will be a good learning experience. I wouldn't spend that coin for a stated 9HP

That sounds like the hawk header price. Was it?
