I changed the oil in the transmission and the front and rear diff today. The shop manual (not haynes or Chilton) says "Approximatly 1 quart" in the front diff, I only got about 7/10ths of a quart at the most. I made sure I was level and that it was full all the way to to fill plug but that seems like a bit much to be short by. I know that IFS is going to need less fluid but does 7/10ths of a quart seem right to everyone else?
Thanks.

As long as you were on level ground and it came up to the fill plug you are fine. Dont want to much since it will blow out the vent and possibly damage the diff.
