Left town for 2 1/2 weeks. Came back last night and my GV struggled to start. Cranked okay, but wouldn't turn over. Gave it some gas....still wouldn't start. Waited a few minutes. Banged on the fuel tank. Tried again. It got close to starting so I gave it some more gas......finally it started, although reluctantly. Today it seems okay. Any advice on the best way to start it up after it's been sitting for a while? I seem to remember a previous post on this......hmmm. Maybe I should look around the forum.

The word is that sometimes the pressure gets released from the fuel rails and the fuel drains back to the tank. This happened once on our GV. Others have had it happen.
If it repeats itself my money's on your fuel pump if it's original or old.
