Title: Leaf Springs in SAS setup
Post by: dan_b_grcc on August 06, 2007, 09:18:17 AM
Hello,
What kind of leaf springs are some of you guys using with your SAS setups for Tracker/Sidekicks?  I am wondering about using some rears from a Chevy S-10 or Ford Ranger, just because of there smaller length. Any ideas or advice? Just curious what others have done. I have seen some information on the axles here, but not much on the leaf springs. I plan on using Dana 44's from a Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Thank you

I am using 5-leaf pack YJ's. They work pretty well.

Thanks for the response guys. What axles are you running with them? Do you have pictures by chance?

Thanks!

I am in the process in a SAS with 4 pack Yj leafs, and i am using a CJ Dana 30, the axle is about an inch narrower than the tracker track width but it was free, and a lot easier for me to find than Yota axles.
