its a 92 tracker.is that rebuild kit from rro or calmini worth while?it sure would make it easier than sourcing out all the parts.also does a cam help out? should i go oversized? and do i get a thorly header?if im gonna do a total might as well make it worth my while eh..

i bet it feels different with the center of gravity

dont even know its there.sure notice the extra room up front.it holds all my fuel and camp gear on it.lots of room left in the back seat for the hound dog.lol

I've been finding some awesome prices on VERY complete kits, including both pumps and belts, pistons bearings, everything for under $300 on ebay. To boot, if you shop carefully, some are all Japan made stuff, most OEM.

Do the whole engine rebuild for sure.Definately also do valve seals, and guides, and have crank and rods checked out to be sure.A good midrange cam and header is allways a good thing, and the extra horse and torque are worth the expense.

You could always turbo it!
Definately the full rebuild. I had 295,000 kms on my 91 tracker. I changed everything hoping to fix the lack of power. I finally rebuilt the head. The valves were shot(big gaping cracks). The bottom end then blew with the new valves and such. So a full rebuild is essential.
