Hello all I just bought a new project a 1990 sidekick and first would like to know if anybody out there knows how to adjust the clutch. The clutch has about 5000miles on it and is write on the floor and the more I drive it the worse it gets. Any help would be great. Thanks.

inspect the clutch cable from the firewall to the adjustment under the passenger sideif there is ANY dammage to the outter sheething then you need a new cable. you can try the adjustment, but my bet is that you will need to replace the cable. they usualy go out really rapidly.
good luck

If your gonna do alot of trail riding, keep a spare with you. I have had them kink on me in the woods numerous times and I had to drive out with no clutch :(

When I got my 90 kick I found the cable had torn a hole in the fire wall and needed to be secured I think we used some fender washers, not that I expect it to be very commen but just another place to check. Also I think it is should be about 1/4" play at the pedal before the cluth disengagement starts. NMc
