I've got a track/kick/vit, my sig shows the spec.
Since the mods, the steering isn't as 'sharp' as it was (obviously)... I'm not really sure how to explain this, nothing is loose, but at speed it wanders a little, and takes a lot of little turns on the steering wheel to point straight. A bit scary on some of the narrow straight roads on my little island...
I'm wondering if there's anything i can do to make the steering wheel more sensitive i suppose, so rather than 2 and a bit full rotations to lock the steering one way... is it possible reduce it?
Cheers, Andy :)

mine does that too...i got a 94 track with 31s...i think its just the bigger tires

Do you have manual or power steering?
-
well i have manual steering...i want to upgrade just dont have the finances right now

check the rag joint ...
and did you get an alignement after the spacer lift?

I use to have the same problem on my `93 Kick. It was the rag joint.
Since it was just worn but not to the limit of being dangerous, I use the cheapest way to correct it: I simply cut two pieces of a bicycle tire (those things are surprisingly hard to break!) and clamp them with plumber's collars around the joint to make it stiffer.
Works like a charm and don't cost a penny!
;D

Well, i've got manual steering, which, surprisingly, isnt too hard with the bigger tyres
By rag joint, i guess you mean that bit of black rubber type stuff at the connection by the top of the steering bar?
Everything feels very solid, and i dont have any loose bits i dont think...
thanks, Andy :)

Check that the shocks and struts are still good. What tyre pressures are you running?

Havent actually checked my tyres pressure since i had the tyres fitted a good 800miles ago... i presume they'd be the typical 25-30ish psi
Would tyre pressure make much difference, i've exprimented with it before on smaller tyres for 4x4use, and not noticed a difference on the road at the time?

i had the same prob my kick almost changed lanes after hitting a bump or rut it was so bad my wife wouldnt drive my car so i bought a calmini steering stabalizer off a guy on this site and my problem went away completely
