I'm no good with pictures but I'm guessing you blew the piston up into the valves?  Explain exactly what happened please? It looks like what happened to a 250 scooter motor I had. A small carb screw fell down on top of the piston and it eventually blew the head and destroyed the piston. I still sold the engine for over $150 on ebay!!

well, the thing had piston slap goin on since i bought it....thats how i got it for so cheap....drove it for almost a year and it was progressivly getting louder, until 1 day it sounded like you were hitting the valve cover with a large hammer, i managed to get her home, and quit driving it....then i got the urge to do some exploring in the fields.....this lead to the motor completly locking up....the pics below are actually the rod....with a inspection light i can see down into the crankcase and there is a piece of the piston wadded into a ball lodged inbetween the crankshaft and the block, there is ceramic in all of the cylinders from the spark plug getting smacked, and chunks of piston all the way up to the throttle body...almost like a grenade went off in cyl. no. 3...

I wonder if it can be rebuilt. That reminds me, I have a running motor that just needs a few oil seals and o-rings replaced I was thinking of selling. It needs the carb on it rebuilt I suspect from sitting. I should list it in the garage sale.

i havnt ripped into the bottom end of the motor yet....lack of ambition and caring, but i really do not think that it can be rebuilt, the way it completly locked up on me tells that something must have seriously gone wrong, and i bet the bottom end is completly WASTED! prolly not even worth trying to save the thing
