Title: Settle in time on a lift?
Post by: Cuthulu on August 21, 2007, 06:24:40 PM
So I ordered My Old Man Emu shocks and struts from Rocky Road on Friday. :D  I'm doing an accompaning 1.5" coil spacer and also replaceing the strut mounts with KYB strut mounts.  I have read about settle time on here with lifts and I have a question.   If the toe in and camber is not to awful (drivable) would there be any gain to wait for it to settle before an alignment.  In the past I have waited but that was always with larger lifts.  Also this is my dayly driver so parking it for a week is not an option.

i found that doing my alignement right away wasn't the best, as i ended up with a front end looking like this  /  \ after a few months, if you can get out on a trail after eyeing out your alignment as best you can, ride some bumps and get the front end flexing as much as possible it may help, but i think it works out just a little diferent for all of us.  that's just my opinion though.
