a couple guys from our club went out wheelin' this weekend at the local off-road park. we all forgot our cameras but we did get some photos on a phone of my rakker in a wash that is well known for body damage (usualy to the passenger side though.)

here i am entering the tree area that is known for body damage. everything before this is a breeze, just a few S turns that kick you from side to side.

had to stop and look at way to get around the tree root that is 26" higher than the tire rut is.with 30" tires, the root made it interesting getting around or over.

well, i got past the root but the drivers tire slid down the hill and this is were i laid.

here is another shot. look at the tree in the for ground and remember that trees grow straight up. turn head to get a picture where i was sitting.

5 feet forward and i stopped to reposition. i had one guy behind me telling me that every thing looked good. the guy in front didn't say a word. so the one from the back came around and this is what he saw. the passenger tire is well over 6' off the ground. back up a little and turned the wheels to the right it she settled right down, nice and easy.

by the time i got here it was easy as pie compared to the before. the good news is that there was no rope or winch in play while doing this little wash. i entered it around 5:15 and 5:45 i was out the other end.not to bad for a run that is roughly 200' long. 8)
