I talked to Brent Bradshaw over at Trail Tough and I will go with his suggestion and do a 2.0 16V Zuki motor, with Yota axles, & go to a manual tranny & Dual T-Cases. This won't happen until February 2005 as he is busy building a buggy that will be finished around Feb. So until then my truck will be spending this winter in Panama City, Florida as I will be moving there shortly. -CZ
PS: Heather - Thanks for the tip on Trail Tough

2.0 seams kinda small for how you like things, you sure you don't want a 2.7(or 2.6 can't remember)? mabey a turbo 2.0? ;D

Trail Tough does some sweet work.. You wont be disappointed.. I had them do some work on my Kick after I nose dove off of a sand dune this summer and shifted the entire body 3" forward and ripped it off the body mounts :( But they put it back on straight and it is nearly back to the way it was with is amazing :D. Keep us up dated on the 2.0 dual case conversion.. It is something I maybe interested in. What did he sugest for the dual case setup?

how hard would it be to fit like a 4.3 litre or a 350 in a tracker?

Eric's 2.7 is a really sweet swap. Gobs of power, clean install + you get to stay with zook parts!

Sweet looking engine bay...........As for me Brent suggested the 2.0 and said he could make it put out more power than the Suzuki V-6 and with less engine weight. Then I suggested maybe doing a 383 Stroker, he said it was possible but the more I think about it I prefer a Zuki powered rig. -CZ

sorry guys those were the only 2 pics I got before Eric came over and slammed his hood down, tried to take my camera and threatend to ban me.
not really...lol just the only 2 I got.

I bet he would ban us if we posted the 'road side' pics from the last day ;D

Really? Without a turbo or a blower I don't really see how that's going to happen... Just look at the numbers.
2.0 liter
Horsepower (SAE net) 127 |removethispart|@ 6,000 rpm
Torque (SAE net) 134 lbs.-ft. |removethispart|@ 3,000 rpm
2.7 liter
Horsepower (SAE net) 183 hp |removethispart|@ 6,000 rpm
Torque (SAE net) 180 lb.-ft. |removethispart|@ 4,000 rpm
Lets say you put a fancy schmancy air cleaner on the 2.0 and a free flow exhaust that is good for 15% HP improvement that would put you at 146 hp.

Okay, he ducked the roadside pic thing with his "fancy schmancy" statement. We want details! ;D

I would run out of gas everytime I went out if I could put a motor like that in my ride, that motor was awesome. Dad took an awesome pic of the V-6 powering up the Sand Dunes, I'll try ans scan it this weekend and post it.
