Got a resource for a cool, inexpensive powder coated bull bar?
Next, installing a wiring harness for a trailer--easy or hard to do?
So many questions...so little money.
-
For which Suzuki?
-
Two-door Tracker, 95, and I just spent about an hour searching:
Too damn expensive--can't afford it.
Will have to settle for a brush guard/safari bar, but not much out there for my year either.
-
Ya, nothing under $600 that I've seen for bull bars.
I got my plug and play trailer harness from ebay.

Remember the link or unit #? And i it a pain to install?

Sure don't, that was over a year ago. Try this company http://stores.ebay.com/Towing-Products-Truck-Accessories
It was plug and play, no cutting of splicing wires at all. Took 5 minutes.
-
Can't find it--weird.
It's probably something they DO have, but not specifying it for the Tracker.
-
I think this is it, but I should be able to find this locally anmyway, right?

It is plug and play. Pull the drivers side rear panel off. Look at the wire harness and you will see a blue plug that is taped to the harness. That is were the factory/aftermarket tow harness plugs in. I sold one on ebay awhile back.

Thats a universal one. There is a nice factory one that plugs right into the stock harness.
-
That one will work but it is not the plug and play type. With that one you have to digout the wires and figure out which ones you need with the included tester.
-
So where do I BEGIN to look for the factory one?
-
Did you try a Chevrolet or Suzuki dealer?
I don't know if they're still available... but it's a start ;)

Will do--good point.
But I'll walk in there to buy a 40-dollar part, and they'll try to sell me a 40-grand new truck.
Sigh--I HATE auto dealerships!

Ira, Have you checked out Tops4Less? http://tops4less.com/blackfinish.html they have the powder coated bar for $320.00, I bought the full safari grill guard from them, paid about $400.00 earlier this yr, had to wait about 2 months for mine(out of stock) at the time, but nothing worth wild at the time out there and wasn't in a real rush so I waited, glad I did, not seen another like it in Chicago and get lots of compliements on it. They also have the same trailer wiring harness listed in the tread below. The bonus...FREE SHIPPING ;D

What a cool site! Thanks!!!

At that price you can get a bumper from Trail Tough for 320 though. :)

|removethispart|@ Chitownzuk Any chance that we can get a picture of the gaurd? Hard to get a good ook at the gaurd on their pics since it is black on black. Also has anyone use there nerf bars and if so are they trail worthy or just show pieces?
