Title: reply quick! Front and rear diff the same?

I am wondering if the front and rear diffs are the same on my samurai, I just installed lockrights in booth axles but I put the front spider gears in the rear and the rear spider gears in the front and the axle shafts wont slide in now. If I put the front diff in the rear and the rear in the front would it work?

yes the only difference is the sidegears

The later samurai's also had 2 pin carriers in the front, instead of 4 pin.....the 2 pins started in either 88.5 or 90, can't remember which.
