Ya I don't mind rust cause I'm not going for looks, but I HATE the look of rust holes. So I tried my best to patch it up. Hey, I didn't do that bad...i think

Your fix looks good! I'll be fixing some rust holes in the D/S rear wheel well in the near future. My rust isn't as extensive as yours, but if it was I would be tempted to cut this rear of the wheel opening just under the tail light and then weld in a new part to close up the bottom. Just what I would do with my own rig. As I said your fix looks like it turned out realy nice. Congrats!!

The crossmember in the rear right in front of the gas tank on the track is almost completely gone...any ideas on how to fix that???

If the frame rails themselves are good it might be possible to slide a smaller tube through the rusted cross member hole. Do the gas tank lift at the same time. Dave
