Title: 4x4 air pump.

Hi Everyone:  When does this pump run?  Does it run all the time while in 4x4 mode?  Mine does not run while in 4X4 mode.  However, if I disconnect the wiring harness and run 12v to the pump, it runs fine.  The problem seems to be the middle connector on the harness, which is grounded.   If I take that out of the picture, the pump runs.  However, the harness seems to have the same pos, gnd, gnd status whether in 4x4 mode or not (power does turn off when the key is off).  I wonder if I have a relay somewhere that is faulty, but the owner's manual does not show one.  Any help would be greatly appreciated guys.  Thanks again.

Is your 4x4 light coming on?  If not, that could be it.  The air diff engages when the 4wd switch is engaged by shifting.
