I tried the search but couldn't find an answer so heres my question. I got a 94 2dr sidekick and want to do a few mods to it, to make it a capable offroad vehicle. I will be doing a 2" body lift and doing a grand vitara coil spring swap(hopefully around 1.5"-2"lift). I should be able to fit 31" tires but I am wondering if the dinky little 1.6 8v will be able to handle those without changing any gears. I wouldn't do any rock crawling but it would have to be able to cruise on the highway and get up steep grades. Would I be better off getting 235/75/15 (roughly 29") or would the lift make those tires look to small?
Thanks for your help

I would go with the 235's and skip the body lift...

You'd be surprised where a Tracker with 235's and a decent driver will go. The body lift isn't a bad thing though, it will help minimize rocker panel damage.
