Title: Butt Stomper / Red Eye Run - Naches, WA.,
Post by: 2_Dogs_Ink on September 23, 2007, 08:55:28 AM
Ok, we have picked the dates for the Butt Stomper/Red Eye run.

They will be Nov. 16th and 17th (possibly the 18th depending on weather).  Starting time is 10 am on Friday the 16th.  The goal is to reach the cabin on tri-pod flats before the college kids do.

This is a self contained run, meaning you are responsible for your own food, parts, tools, camping gear, etc.........This does not mean there will be no help, just means you know your rig and what would break.  Be prepared!  ;)

Recommend at least 1 locker and aggressive tires.  HIGHLY RECOMMEND winch, lockers front and rear, aggressive tires.  >:D

The trails can be a very easy or can be your worst nightmare, depends on the weather. :o

Post up if you plan on attending AND email me your contact information (sales|removethispart|@2dogsink.com).  This way we get a head count and make sure you get all the information pertaining to this run. :)

Thanks

DATE  November 16-17, 2007

WHERE Naches area

We will be running the Naches area trails.  Starting at 10 am on Friday the 16th.  The goal is to get to the cabin before the college kids do.

This is a self contained trail ride.  Meaning you are responsible for your own food, tools, spare parts, camping gear, etc.......  We will be traveling as a group(s), so no one will be on their own.

Recommend at least 1 locker and aggressive tires.  Highly recommend 2 lockers, winch, aggressive tires.  The trails could be very easy or real difficult, depends on the weather.  This is not a sight seeing trip, we will be moving and covering a lot of trail.

If you plan on attending, please email me your contact info at sales|removethispart|@2dogsink.com so I can  make sure you get the correct meeting place, times and any changes if any.

Thanks

Have a friend who is working to get his rig done in time for this.  Has been looking forward to it all year, then decided to replace the axles.  :p

Thanks "E"

No problem, let me know if I can help out...

The drag is that you picked the same weekend as the Fall Classic. And as far as I know, it's pretty hard to be in two places at once!

If anyone can make it happen, it is you.

Sorry for the date, that is the last weekend that the Historical section of Naches trail is open (closes on midnight friday).

With the recent rains it has brought snow to the Naches trails.  The last couple of weekends we have had snow at the upper elevations and rain at the lower elevations.  Challenging trail conditions!  With less than a month away.........are you ready? >:D

This will be a fun trip.

Just be sure to post pictures of the fun after.  I'll be having fun in the dunes in Oregon.  Maybe next year though.  :)
