Title: roll cage for an 88 sammy

does anyone know of a shop around the twin cities that would build a custom roll cage?

How about Dave at Davesport? He builds custom Zuki cages. Nice cage, mine works well with everything on my Zuki except the hardtop I toss on in the winter. And that issue is more about the mounting of the windshield hold down points on the hard top. Having a flippy-floppy front window helps.

im taking the fenders and box type thing off and want the cage to be like this one

That looks like the standard Davesport cage only with the back sections lengthened in order to reach the frame instead of bolting onto the body.  If you gave him a call he could probably hook you up.  www.davesport.com
