I just put on the CJ's / RUF SPUA here a few weeks ago. Great deal -- Been hitting the seach areas and was convinced to do it -- you guy's are right about the ride -- Thanks .
Now I'm looking at doing something with the steering. Will one of the ' Over-The-Top steering linkage ' work on this the way I have it or am I going with the drop pitman arm ?? From the seaches the Z-Link is out ... !!
Any help would be great -- Thanks

Yeah, an over the top type setup is a good idea. Huppo is running this on his SPUA rig and loves it. Maybe he'll chime in.

Iv got that set up with Rocky Roads OTT system and missing link. I had alot of bump steer untill I rotated the rear down 3-4 deg. Now it has NOTHING. I bought the bolt on SOA kit from RR over the weld on kit so I only had to cut just under a 1/4" off the front of the spring perch and weld it on the other side to change the angle. Ill eventually weld it all up when I get it where I want it.

hey Mac, I'm running an Acme Adapters Hi-Link steering with CJs front and rear in a SPUA configuration. It works great! Steers easy, and has no bumpsteer.

Thanks Doc -- that is what I was hoping to hear. I may go spoa someday and I think I will invest a little more in the steering now to save a little later. The angle change I may have screwed up also that HUMZUKI is saying is something I have been looking through the seach at also.
Thanks again guy's for the help .... Mac
