Anybody got any insight to firming-up the shifts? You'd think there'd be some sort of ECM hack or profile for it, but I've found nothing via basic internet searches.
Mine's the '02 2.7 version.
The "Power" setting does its thing okay, which is to raise part-throttle shift points, but the shifts themselves are painfully lazy....er...hypnotically smooth.

Kinda the way they are. I know mine improved alittle when I added 31x10.5 tires and 5.12 gears over my 4.62's. but pretty much all autos are like that, not sure if you can improve it much.

if ya can bump up the pressure it'll shift firmer ... I'm still investigating what it'll take to up the pressure some for the 3spd I'm transplanting into the 16v 4dr.

I don't know about the newer '02 versions, but on the older trans., there are a couple of different vacuum modulators you can run, and adjust them to change the shifting.

I'm pretty sure the newer ones are all electronic, which should make it easier. GM/Ford/Mopar reprogrammers are all over the place. Can't find one for Suzuki anywhere.

Isn't the auto trans used in the trackicks of GM manufacture? If so a GM re programmer could possible work.

The 4spd is an AISIN Warner, not GM
