Title: Can any one tell me??

I was thinking about putin the front springs off a jeep cherokee on the back of my 94 2door tracker and i need to know if the back springs on my tracker are longer then the front ones.  im pretty sure the cherokee springs will fit on the back but i need the back springs off the tracker so i can put them up front as a cheap lift.   and dose any body know how much spring spacers are?

I don't think that will work out too well. The front springs are shorter than the rear, but they are stiffer too, to carry the weight of the engine. If you put the rear springs in the front you might end up losing ground clearance. Spring spacers aren't exactly expensive at about 60 bucks for a set. It's probably your best bet for a cheap, easy, effective lift. Don't forget to flip the strut mounts up front and get Crown Vic shocks for the back!

Spring spacers are:
4-1.5"-$70
4-2" - $90
2-1.5" & 2-2"-$80

I think that the rear springs will end up flattened if you put them on the front. The spring rate is far too soft. The front springs are designed to carry the extra weight of the engine and to compensate for the leverage ratio on the A-arms. Rears are around 156lbs/in, fronts are something like 360lbs/in
