Hey guys, I have a pretty good set of 235/75 R15's, Uniroyal Liberator A/T, cheap, but damn good tires btw! I have em on a set of 15x7 chrome wheels. I'm gonna be getting the General Grabber AT2's in a few months or so, 31's, and I was wondering will my 235's fit on the original 15x5.5 wheel or are they to wide, I looked it up on tirerack.com and it said that size can't fit on anything smaller than a 6" rim. Is that true, or can I fit them on the 5.5"? They're really good tires and I don't just want to get rid of them.

I used to run 235s on my stock rims for more then a year...no problems at all except they rubbed the frame a little on full lock

I ran 235 on stocks the only proplem I noticed was the centers wear faster, but if you run lower tyre pressure it helps

I ran 235/75's on my stock rims for almost a year, no problems whatsoever. It only rubbed the driver's side framerail on extreme left hand turns..but only enough to scrape the paint off, nothing serious.

I have run the 31x9.50 swampers on the stock wheels and it worked good. They did rub the springs at full lock turning. HTH ;D

I ran 33 x 9.5's on the 5.5" rim ;D

Cool thanks ya'll. when I get the 31" General Grabbers, I'm gonna go ahead and put my 235's on the stock wheels, just don't want to get rid of them. Thanks for the info.

I have 33" x 10.50" BOGGERS on stock sami rim but it has 2" spacers to fix the rubbing problem! I run about 18 psi in the rears and about 20 up front and daily drive it! ;D

i used to run 235/75 on my stock rims no problem. can air down really low without losing a bead. just lower your air pressure to avoid wearing out the center of the tread
