Title: Did some thinking (well, photoshopping)
Post by: explosivo on November 15, 2004, 02:01:19 PM
I think I'm starting to get a more solid idea of what direction I'm going to take what's left of my Tracker body in next:

I figured that what's left of the rear portion is pretty rotted out, so why not lop it off, eh? :P I really dig the green SAS'd rig here:

Except I wouldn't be making a soft top for it.

Yeah, there's some spots on it that are really rusted out... the entire floor in the cargo area will probably drop out if I were to leave it in for a year or two :o

Cool, I like it, did you mention anything about a small flat bed on the back too????  It could come in handy for carrying you stuff around with you ;D

Have had a Harbor Freight tube bender for about a year and a half now... figure I might as well take advantage of it ;)

I'm not concerned with that, considering I can't sleep in a reclined Tracker seat (far too wide and a bit too tall ;)).

Yeah, I'll be building a flatbed into the back... probably make it out of wooden planks just because I like that look ;)

I think I'll leave the front seats in though. ;)
I had the back seats out and was totally able to recline the seats and doze off.

Just a heads up on the harbor frieght tubing bender, it's not bought one my self and its a pipe bender(more like a pipe smasher) it kinks tubing more than it bends it, but, willams low buck tools sells a very nice econmy tubing bender and it works well!

Someday I'll get a decent bender. This one seems to work fine on thick tubeing... I have tried to crush--er--bend some exhaust pipe with it, and it didn't work out too good ;D
