Title: exhaust manifold question ?

Hi,

My exhaust manifold is cracked, looking at my alternatives for fixing this problem, I was wondering if the exhaust manifold of my 97 1.6l 16v tracker is the same as the 1.6l 8v engine?

...Even worse, they changed the design somewhere around/after '93 so you have to be extra careful when buying a used one.  I had to adapt a newer exhaust manfold to my '93 1.6 16-valve because I couldn't find a decent '93 manifold (they were all cracked!)  My exhaust guys made something that worked mating the newer manifold to the rest of the exhaust system.

I imagine that I am better off from the ordeal because I DON'T have the crack-prone exhaust manifold!

Mine on my 97 1.8L is cracked as well. What harm does this cause?
