If you had $500 dollars (right now) to spend on a stock TrackVit what would you do to it.
I'm thinking a set of A/Ts
-
body lift ($100 or less)
spring spacers ($80)
mini-spool for rear ($100)
used 31x10.50's from some heep ($200)
fluids to make it trail worthy ($20)

Does Heather and Nate's lift kit cost that much?
And ok I am new to this.... what fluids enhance trail worthiness? And since you this newbie is still learning, I know about positraction, lockers, but whats a mini spool do for you? I am really pleased to hear you can get used 31's for that cheap. ::) That moves my modification time table up. ;D

Add in another $1000 for a 3" lift and Anvil front housing :P
-
No spool in this DD, it's an "04 Tracker.
When I do lift it I'm going with a body lift and no suspention mods what so ever. I had some VERY BAD experiences with my "97 after miner suspention mods.
-
Pioneer XM ready CD deck- $110
XM antenna kit-$45
XM frequency modulator box-$45
One year XM satellite radio subscription-$160=
money very well spent

Whats the feq. mod box for? or do?

oil change, diff fluid change, coolant change, gasoline :)

I got five 32x11.50's today (mounted on 5x5.5 rims) for $50 ... if you scrounge, you can find deals on tires/wheels.

yea no spool for a DD.
Are you going to wheel it or you just going for a meatier look?

Let me put it this way, I wheeled my 2000 with the 30 day tags still on it at Paragon. ;), any questions?
-
sry ... had to ask.
some want pavement princess, some want a capable wheeler (and/or prepared for body damage).
I had some VERY BAD experiences with my "97 after miner suspention mods.
what kinda probs? ... spacers and body lift get bigger tires. Lockers make it unstoppable. I've not had any probs with my spacers for cheapo suspension lift. I'm looking to get cheapo spring replacements ... but not *needing* them really.
Your initial $500 question is limiting due to the cost aspect (and I usually figure all costs). If you don't count tires, I guess I'd suggest OME springs, a BL, and ez-locker in the rear.
(It's fun to spend other peoples money :) )

just a correction 5x5.5 means the bolt patteren which would be nessercary to fit on your kick no matter what size the rim. Unless you got a 5 inch tall rim with a 5.5 wide.
-
2 hookers
-
The radio may be "XM Ready" but you still need a frequency modulator box to decipher the satellite signal.

2 hookers
steppin up to the fancy hookers :-/

32x11.50 on a 5" tall rim ... that would be a sight!
yea obviously they are 15x8 5x5.5 rims. Black and chrome modular style ... BLING ... cept for the rash and rust and ... well, they hold air and for $50?

I agree with this ^^.
This is a real good idea for a DD.

Dang! I know a $500 Sammi is few and far between, but I could resonably get one around here (a bit south to avoid rot) for $1000. You must live in like...Expensivesamuraiville or something.
