is the zipper for the rear window part of the top or window

just found out that it is part of the top is there somewhere u can buy the zipper so u can crimp it back on

Half of it is on the top and half is on the window... that's how they zip together...

If you mean which side the zipper pull is on, then that would be the top side, at least on my 90 and 93 Trackers...

I would suggest going to the junkyard and finding a ripped up top to harvest the pull from...

You might try finding a local boat canvas shop or auto upholstry shop.  Some people have had good luck with those types of places sewing new zippers in.

I tried that but the local places wanted more to do that than a new top would have cost me on eBay...so I bought a new top on eBay.

i just need the pull part idk what the correct name for it is   but i need a replacement because mine cracked in half

You might try sewing/fabric shops as I think I recall my mom or someone buying a replacement tab for a zipper before.  Not sure how it would work though.
