:)I think some of you sharp Kick-Trackers could make some moola by selling drawings or template patterns for skid plates. Guys could make thier own.. ::)

I'm sure if anyone had a plan for skidplates here, they'd share them, free of charge... the grand fashion of the Zukiworld community: Helping out other 'zukers ;D
When I get to making some skid plates I'll be sure to post the design templates for them ;) I steal enough ideas from this place that I should start giving back eventually ;D

I would be more than happy to share my skid plate plans, but they are dependent upon you also running the exact same bumper as I do, which I also made. I didn;t really make any plans though, I just sort of welded together tubes, bending them here and there until they looked right to me, then I added the skidplate by using a piece of cardboard as a template...

Two words...
Road signs
Of course I'd only use the Disguarded ones. Older ones are thicker and work better. One I get around to it I'll let yall know how it works out. I think I've found a pile of old disguarded road signs.

Somebody at Zookimelt had a road sign skid plate on a Tracker. (Ranger Rick from Indiana maybe) It was a one way sign under the front with the arrow pointed underneath. It looked pretty cool!

Okay, you've got me riding around now with a wrench in my hand looking at all the roadsigns on my way ( and an eye out for the police :P )

Sounds like something my brother would do, just for the hell of it...
speaking of which, he's 'acquired' quite a few road signs... might have to snag on for a skid ;D

Miine works great. I got a gas tank skid plate out of a Ranger ext cab. Covers the front diff, all the way back to the t-case. Cheap tpp! Costed about $2, including the skid and mounting hardware!

Can you point me in the direction to find pics. Those guys I met at Zuki Melt always seem to be a step ahead of the curve.

Thought I had a pic of it, but can't find it. ??? I'll try to get in touch with RangerRick.
