I am thinking of buying a mid 90's 4dr sport in the next month or two. Need something that will be easier on the wallett than my full-size bronco was. It met with a untimely demise. The passenger side head rest is alot closer to the drivers side thanks to a slick slope and a rather large tree stump. One hell of a ride. Really glad I was the only occupant. I know the wheels off my bronco will fit. I have read about using coil spacers and a strut mount flip to gain 1.5"-2". I can lift the body another 2.5" with some of the scrap steel I have laying around, and a real nice Dewalt sawzall to trim any unwanted contact area on the fenders. The wheels on my Bronc are 15x8 w/2.5" bs, and as the title reads I also plan on running 32x11.50's. Do you think this combo will rub the frame or any suspension components?

There are Steering stops at the pitman arm to adjust for that.

Thanks, I believe I read something about that, it was late and getting groggy. I am sure I will have many more questions before this all over with. I have been admiring all the different rides each of you have posted. Gotten some really good ideas just by looking. I haven't seen many post dealing with increasing engine performance, may not be using right keywords.

Using the 2" spacers I make and a 3" body lift, I run 31/11.5's on a 97 4dr Sport. I've trimmed some but could cut more, so 32's should not be a problem.

I've recently put 32" BFGs on!
3" body lift + 2" coil/shock spacers. Then about an inch worth of trimming on the front fenders.
I had to adjust the steering stop bolts at the ptiman arm to prevent the tyres catching the frame too.

Yea xjames, I had to adjust my steering stops out quite a bit also.

Thanks for the info guys and gal. Now all I have to do is pick one. There are a total of 7 4drs in my area that are for sale. I guess I just need to pick the one with the lowest mileage and doesn't look like it has had the crap beat out of it, LOL, that will be my job. I believe that I read that most all of the 4dr manuals came with the 5.125 gear ratio, is this right? I couldn't imagine running the 32's with anything higher, maybe even check into some of the 5.82's. I will definitely be locking up the rear and eventually a selectable for the front. Once again thank all of you very much, and I look forward to corresponding with each of you as this project progresses.
PS. Do these things come in any color other than green, blue, or white? I am partial to black or brown.
I have never seen a black or brown one.

Here's my black one with lots of dirt on it. Never mind the photoshopped mods.

That thing looks great! I wonder if 31's would look that good. Now I am rally getting ichy for mods.

I'm partial to the Sport model if you can find one. The 1.8L is nice for the extra power. I've only saw one black one, all the rest were green, blue, or white. If you want some coil spacers email me at: hoepkers|removethispart|@charter.net. I have 1.5" and 2".
