Title: 3-Speed Auto Tranny Removal Problem
Post by: longarch on November 04, 2007, 01:55:24 PM
I'm in the process of removing a 3-speed automatic transmission from my '94 Geo Tracker and I was trying to figure out how to remove the fluid filler tube. The more I feel around the base of the tube the more frightened I feel that it's a non-removable tube. If this is true, how do I remove the transmission without damaging the tube?  :'(Please advise.

I couldn't figure out how it came loose either (actually didn't try too hard). I *think* it might have a clip that is only acessable with the pan dropped.

I just dropped the tranny tho with the tube attached. I was on some tallish stands tho and once on the floor was able to tilt it a bit to get it out from under.
