Title: Air vents
Post by: Shizamaaur on November 06, 2007, 04:33:40 PM
Hi all! I was just curious, is there a way to make it so hot air blows out the vents of my 87' Samurai? only the floor and defrost is hot  :-\ thanks!

That's how my 88 sami is.
My problem the fact that when i pulled the dash out i forgot to hook up all tubes that direct air to the vents, so i have some great floor head...and half defroster.

Maybe your hoses are off? Perhaps they got brittle and pretty much broke off, that's how one of my hoses coming from the heater up into the dash is...probably why i only have defrost on one side only.

I'm just to lazy to fix them  ;D

Well hope this helps out somewhat

The heater is only designed to flow to the defrost and floor. You would have to pull the dash and tie into either the floor or the defrost hoses. The dash vents are only for fresh air.
