can anyone here tell me why my new header is brown on only 2 of the pipes.and the other 2 are that blue colour??????????????

compression test stat! If your pipes are oxidizing at significantly different rates then the temperature is also differing, likely a misfire. Hows it running?

it runs pretty good.but now that you mention misfire when its at idle it does seem to run rough.if i do a compression test what should it be reading?

Normal compression on an 1.6 8V is 170 to 190

My JDM replacement motor had 130 psi in all 4 cylinders. I think the JDM motors have a lower compression ratio that the US ones.

japan domestic motors.

Some of dougs headers come anadized that color is normal

well i changed my cap and rotor and wires today.and badda boom a new truck again.lol.the rotor was worn down and corroded.so im saying thats what the deal was.
